Welcome to Emmerdale task force, a collaboration area and open group of editors dedicated to improving Wikipedia's coverage of articles related to the British soap opera television series Emmerdale. We currently have 219 articles under the scope of this project, which generally includes articles where Emmerdale is a relevant focus to the subject. This task force aims primarily to improve and organise these articles in an attempt to establish a standard. Such an effort endeavours to produce a reference that has value as an authority on material within the television series, is easy to read, and has a consistent style.

Tasks
- Improve stub-class articles. Put special focus on unsourced articles.
- Improve all of the character articles and character lists, especially the lists from earlier years of the soap.
- Create detailed and well sourced standalone articles for notable characters.
Organisation
Scope
- The project covers all articles about Emmerdale, including past, present and future events & characters. Priority should be given the articles in desperate need of rewriting to meet a quality standard, expanding newly created or long-term stubbed articles, and generally maintaining all other articles related to this project.
- To get involved with the Emmerdale task force, check the Assessment scale to see which articles are in need of tidying up and expanding.
Goals
- Improve Wikipedia's coverage of Emmerdale and its characters, with priory given to existing articles, rather than creating new ones.
- Improve the main article (Emmerdale). It needs references, facts, and important information.
- Include necessary and essential information where applicable to project articles. For example, all character articles should have an infobox.
- Ensure that any images are accurately sourced and conform to fair use policy (including that promotional images can not be used to illustrate living actors).

- DaniloDaysOfOurLives (talk · contribs) – I want to help any way I can with the articles, mainly by fixing errors and adding/rewriting the storylines section. I want to add more characters to the character lists and I also am working on an Emmerdale Cast Members list here 😊
