Doctor (abbreviated Dr.) was a title used by physicians and the holders of certain advanced university degrees.
Some doctors, such as the homicidal Cornelius Evazan or the apathetic Dhagon Ghent, were of questionable integrity.
Doctor was also a title for a class of specially trained Gungans knowledgeable in the treatment of injuries and application of herbal remedies.
A xenosurgeon was a doctor who specialized in the operating on alien species.[2]
