Philipp Albrecht Christoph Ulrich Maria Herzog von Württemberg was born on 1 November 1964 at Friedrichshafen, Baden-Württemburg, Germany.1 He is the son of Karl Maria Herzog von Württemberg and Diane Françoise Marie d'Orléans, Princesse d'Orléans.1 He married Marie Caroline Hedwig Eleanore Prinzessin von Bayern, daughter of Max Emanuel Ludwig Maria Prinz von Bayern and Elisabeth Christina Douglas, Countess Douglas, on 27 July 1991 at Tegernsee, Bayern, GermanyG, in a civil marriage, and were remarried in a religious ceremony the following day at Schloss Altshausen.
He was given the name of Philipp Albrecht Christoph Ulrich Maria von Württemberg at birth.

Marie Isabelle Marguerite Anne Geneviève d'Orléans, Princesse de France was born on 3 January 1959 at Boulogne-Billaincourt, Hauts-de-Seine, FranceG.1 She is the daughter of Henri Philippe Pierre Marie d'Orléans, Comte de Paris and Maria Theresa Herzogin von Württemberg.2 She married Gundakar Albert Alfred Petrus Prinz von und zu Liechtenstein, son of Johann Baptist Prinz von und zu Liechtenstein and Clothilde Alberta Maria Franziska Xaveria Andrea Prinzessin von Thurn und Taxis, on 22 July 1989 at Dreux, Department Eure et Loire, FranceG, in a civil marriage. Marie Isabelle Marguerite Anne Geneviève and Gundakar Albert Alfred Petrus were also married in a religious ceremony on 29 July 1989 at Friedrichshafen, Baden-Württemburg, Germany.
She gained the title of Princesse Marie Isabelle de France.2 Her married name became von und zu Liechtenstein.
