English: A pitaya is the fruit of several cactus species. "Pitaya" usually refers to fruit of the genus Stenocereus, while "pitahaya" or "dragon fruit" refers to fruit of the genus Hylocereus. The fruits should rather be categorised under their respective species, e. g. Category:Hylocereus undatus (pink skin, white pulp), Category:Hylocereus monacanthus (pink skin, red pulp) or Category:Hylocereus megalanthus (yellow skin, white pulp).
