This is a winter scene with snow and clumps of dried grass showing. Low range of hills appears indistinctly in background. The platform is made of small tree trunks with forks acting as supports for cross members supporting elongated box (coffin) wrapped in material. Structure appears in upper right hand of foreground. Forked limbs appear on ground in left foreground.
