Description

Deutsch: Der jetzige Name ist seit Anfang des 19. Jahrhunderts gebräuchlich, vorher hieß sie Waldnabe", "Fichtelbergische (Wald-) Nabe" oder "Crumbanaba" (ältester Name). Die Brunnfassung der Fichtelnaab wurde ursprünglich 1907 durch den Neubauer Steinbetrieb Franz Scharf erstellt. Nachdem seit 1982 die Quelle im Winter und bei längeren Trockenzeiten immer häufiger kein Wasser mehr gab, hat die FGV-Ortsgruppe Fichtelberg-Neubau und der Naturpark Fichtelgebirge die Quelle saniert. Seitdem bleibt das Wasser nicht mehr aus; es hat Trinkwasserqualität.
