That woman has done undue damage to my life, and job. She did this for no real reason, save for false premises; she's sloppy, and aggressive.

The situation she caused remains active, and she's done nothing to correct it. Claiming that I'm harassing her is the epitome of aggressor-claiming-victimization that is that woman's hallmark. I had no interest in her, and only a passing interest in this website, when she started a large-scale project out of here. If you are looking for the abuse, harassment, intimidation and life-wrecking, you tell her to go in front of the mirror, then tell her to get her hind-end in front of a computer, and she should go about, with the same 'enthusaism' that she caused this problem, to admit that she had NO idea what she was talking about, and that this should be shut down. I'm quite sick of wiping up her dirt. And she smeared it over thousands of people.

If you didn't take this to ANI, you know exactly what I'm talking about. Tell her to look in the mirror, and clean up the mess she made.

Quite simple stuff, but evidently rocket-science to that woman. She's rather cry victim. Which is sort of like (insert criminal of the week) claiming that he's picked on unfairly by the law profession. She started it. She can finish it. I've no further interest in her, save for her mess which I have to cope with.

Thank you. 83.77.110.201 16:17, 25 May 2009 (UTC)Reply

hi, how are you doing? i was told that several of the photos i have uploaded need permission from the copyright holders in order to stay on wikipedia commons. http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Commons:Deletion_requests/Files_from_J929

i have tried to contact the Sathya Sai Baba trust at enquiry@sssbpt.org ( http://www.sssbpt.org/Pages/ShareUs/ShareUs.htm ) (i have sent three emails with no reply) i was wondering if you could help at all to get the proper permission for the photos. i am unsure who the original photographer was and as the pictures are of postcards i know that they are several generations of photos (picture of a picture of a picture...) and not the original photos. (see discussion http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Commons:Deletion_requests/Files_from_J929 for explanation) any help or suggestions is most appreciated.

Sorry, but I don't know how to help you, other than by telling you that you should contact whoever you got the photos from. We can't keep the images on Commons unless we know the source and they have properly licensed it. Cbrown1023 talk 23:28, 10 October 2009 (UTC)Reply

Thanks for your time!

Dear Cbrown1023. I am writing to you to inform you that you are in danger of losing your adminship on Commons because of inactivity.

If you want to keep your adminship, you need both to sign at Commons:Administrators/Inactivity section within 30 days of today's date, and also to make at least five further admin actions in the following six months. Anyone who does not do so will automatically lose administrator rights.

You can read the de-admin policy at Commons:Administrators/De-adminship.

Thank you – Kwj2772 (msg) 02:46, 17 February 2010 (UTC)Reply

I was going to open a Cfd over it but was a bit tardy and it has already been deleted, basically I think the speedy nomination of it was mistaken, since it confuses country with sovereign state, and although England is not a sovereign state it is a country. There is also the issue of that there was no United Kingdom before the Acts of Union, so ships such as the Golden Hinde, Mary Rose and Sovereign of the Seas are rightly English ships.KTo288 (talk) 07:41, 14 March 2010 (UTC)Reply

Well, the category was empty. If you want to open up a deletion request about it, I'll undelete it for you. Cbrown1023 talk 15:03, 14 March 2010 (UTC)Reply
I think it was emptied in preparation for being deleted, as there were at least a dozen images in it when I looked at it, I would undelete it myself but don't want to act against the considered consensus of the community.KTo288 (talk) 18:42, 14 March 2010 (UTC)Reply
Feel free to undelete it if you think that there should be a discussion. :-) Cbrown1023 talk 01:23, 15 March 2010 (UTC)Reply

Hello, Sorry for spaming your talk page, but this is very important. On the behalf of the Wikiproject medicine at the en.wikipedia, I am inviting you to be a part of the discussion going on the project's talk page about Patient images, The discussion started after I obtained a permission to more than 23000 dermatology related images, and about 1500 radiology images. As some editors of the Wikiproject medicine have some concerns regarding the policy of using patient images on wikipedia, and regarding patient consents. Also they believe that common's policy is not so clear regarding the issue. And since you are the experts please join us at this very important discussion -- MaenK.A.Talk 14:20, 20 March 2010 (UTC)Reply

Hi. There is a problem with the OTRS tag you added. Could you please have a look? --Leyo 16:44, 24 June 2010 (UTC)Reply

What's the problem? Everything looks good to me. (That's actually a valid ticket number, it's just so old that it's just numbered in a different format.) Cbrown1023 talk 14:07, 5 July 2010 (UTC)Reply

Hello! On MediaWiki_talk:Extra-tabs.js/mk I have added the translation for the 'Purge cache' bit that should be included as last item, so that it may appear in Macedonian like the rest of the buttons. It will be great to have that too.

By the way, I have done some copious ammonts of translation work here at Commons and shamelessly plonked it on Lupo's talk page (everything below his comment on 20:17, 14 July 2010. the stuff above that are already done). It also includes this subsection about translated "Gadgets" page. I hope that he will not be offended by the workload. After all, I don't mean to demand that one person should do all those implementations, hence I am telling another admin ( yourself :). I hope it's not too much of a trouble. --B. Jankuloski (talk) 10:23, 16 July 2010 (UTC)Reply

I think I got a big chunk of it done. Let me know on Skype if there's anything else. Cbrown1023 talk 19:36, 16 July 2010 (UTC)Reply

I think I did them all a bit ago, but forgot to reply here. :-) Cbrown1023 talk 19:53, 18 July 2010 (UTC)Reply

Hello. It seems that the government works upload form does not give the MediaWiki talk:Licenses/mkfromgov when clicked. Is it really implemented or something else is wrong? As mentioned before, it gives some field descriptions in Macedonian, and some in English. Rather strange. Perhaps the other upload forms need to be checked for that same discrepancy. --B. Jankuloski (talk) 00:14, 19 July 2010 (UTC)Reply
The government works upload form works for me now. About some things being in Macedonian and some in English, that's because of the hackish way that Commons (ab)uses the ?uselang parameter to have different upload forms. I think we just need to follow the instructions here to fix that. Cbrown1023 talk 15:05, 19 July 2010 (UTC)Reply
Oops, it was done by someone else :) --B. Jankuloski (talk) 11:29, 20 July 2010 (UTC)Reply

Hi, Need your help on Commons:Picture of the Year, as i wish to check out the pictures & Archives of all the images, which can be viewed/downloaded from here or here. But problem is that links are not working. Please help.(  Abu Torsam  20:58, 9 August 2010 (UTC))Reply

Hi Cbrown1023,

The "Very-quick-delete" script was broken for a while but is now fixed and migrated to a gadget. I have removed it from your user script. You can enable "Instant Delete" on Special:Preferences#mw-prefsection-gadgets. –Krinkletalk 00:35, 28 December 2011 (UTC)Reply

Hallo Cbrown1023, you contributed to MediaWiki:Sp-contributions-footer-anon/mk. I just wanted to tell you that the English version contains more correct links (some are outdated in the mk version). Either you update the mk version or just delete the page - then all mk users see the english version. I guess the links are not that hard to understand anyway. Or we integrate the link title translation in the new link template. As you like. Probably the latter would be the best. Cheers --Saibo (Δ) 20:22, 18 February 2012 (UTC)Reply

You should contact the translator, not me. I just posted the translation that was on the talk page. :-) Message User:Bjankuloski06en. Cbrown1023 talk 00:21, 19 February 2012 (UTC)Reply

Hi Casey! It is with a regret that I inform you that, following our de-adminship policy, you had your administrator rights on Wikimedia Commons removed on August 17 by a Wikimedia steward.

I would like to use this opportunity to thank you for your efforts and contributions in making Wikimedia Commons what it is today (no big words intended!). If you'll feel like doing so at some point, please feel free to re-apply for adminship at COM:RFA. Again, thanks for all the help you gave us, and (hopefully) see you back soon! odder (talk) 19:22, 19 August 2012 (UTC)Reply
