Use the CommonSense tool to find good categories for your files (then other people can find them too!)
To link to an image page without embedding the image, type: [[:Image:Foo.jpg]], which produces: Image:Foo.jpg
If you're copying files from another project, be sure to use the CommonsHelper

There seems to be a problem regarding the description and/or licensing of this particular file. It has been found that you've added in the image's description only a Template that's not a license and although it provides useful informations about the image, it's not a valid license. Could you please resolve this problem, adding the license in the image linked above? You can edit the description page and change the text. Uploading a new version of the file does not change the description of the file. This page may give you more hints on which license to choose. Thank you.

こんにちは。File:EXPO 1990 Central Gate.JPGの撮影日が1990年10月2日となっていますが、これはja:国際花と緑の博覧会でのキャプションの通り、9月2日の誤りですか?　10月2日だと博覧会の閉幕後ですし、人々の服装からも9月2日のほうが妥当かとは思うのですが、ご確認いただければ幸いです。よろしくお願いします。--Sushiya (talk) 06:58, 11 July 2009 (UTC)Reply

こんにちは。はじめまして、Ohgiと申します。File:Ibaraki Sogo.JPGの著作権について、気になることがございます。

こちらの画像については、「そごう倒産後、現在誰も所有権を持っていません。」として、著作権者がいないものとしていらっしゃいます。しかし、ウィキペディアの記事や[1][2]によると、「株式会社そごう」は民事再生法申請後、紆余曲折を経まして、現在「株式会社そごう・西武」という会社に合併しております。権利義務一切も「株式会社そごう・西武」が承継しているはずです。

また、そごうが著作権を持っているとは限らず、著作権はこの絵を描いた方個人にある可能性もあります。いずれにせよ、この絵が描かれてから著作権が切れるだけの期間が経過していませんので、著作権は存続しているはずです。転載元のページにも「ウィキペディアへの無断引用およびリンクを禁じさせていただきます。」と書かれているようですし、コモンズへのアップロードは厳しいのではないかと思います。いかがでしょうか。--Ohgi (talk) 12:55, 12 December 2012 (UTC)Reply

まずアップロードした時点での立場と経緯を説明をさせて頂きます。

掲載元であるサイト管理者に対して、アップロードをする前にコモンズへ掲載したい旨を連絡しております。掲載元を明示した上で、転載することについて許可を頂いております。

合わせてコモンズへの公開を前提に、株式会社そごう・西武に対し著作権に関する確認をいたしました。当時の回答によると、著作権を有していた茨木そごうがすでに清算しているため、回答当時においては株式会社そごう・西武が著作権を有している状態にない旨が返答されました。

しかしながら、貴殿により提起頂いた通り、作画者が不明である以上、権利者が全く消滅していると確定的に言い切ることに疑義があることは否めません。

これらを鑑みると、コモンズ上において掲載し続けることは相応しくないと判断し即時削除依頼を提出いたしました。
