Put Babel boxes on your user page so others know what languages you can speak and indicate your graphic abilities.
All your uploads are stored in your personal gallery
Please sign your name on Talk pages by typing ~~~~
Use the CommonSense tool to find good categories for your files (then other people can find them too!)
To link to an image page without embedding the image, type: [[:Image:Foo.jpg]], which produces: Image:Foo.jpg
If you're copying files from another project, be sure to use the CommonsHelper

Hello BotMultichillT — thanks for your message. I'm afraid I'm still a bit puzzled by the Commons upload 'engine' — I tried to upload a better version of this file (with a better filename) = File:Ukrainian Artists Society of Australia-1976.jpg, and the result was that it became a totally different upload. I really only wanted to have a better version of the existing file (plus with a more descriptive name) on the same page as Image:1976-CYOMA.jpg, but somehow i missed how to do this. Anyway, I have already uploaded a better version of the same image, so Image:1976-CYOMA.jpg is redundant as now there are 2 different file names for the same image. I don't mind if it is deleted, leaving only File:Ukrainian Artists Society of Australia-1976.jpg - is this possible, and how? Thanks --Pkravchenko (talk) 07:33, 10 January 2009 (UTC)Reply

I am now proud owner of a TUSC account!

Thank you for moving photos from ukwiki, but please do not forget that Commons has very strict copyright rules that require permissions both for commercial and derivative works. Unfortunately, File:Monument Lesya Ukrainka Toronto.jpg does not allow commercial use, ans there is no evidence that author of the photo had another opinion, so this photo is a candidate for deletion. 8 липня 2015 року вийшов закон №122-ЗРК/2015 «Про внесення змін до Закону Республіки Крим ”Про об'єкти культурного спадку в Республіці Крим”», яким об'єкти культурної спадщини Криму було визнано такими, що підлягають державній охороні Російської Федерації. Спираючись на це, НП «Вікімедіа РУ» та спільнота російських учасників вікіпроектів цього року проводить щорічний фотоконкурс «Вікі любить пам'ятки» в Росії уже із Кримом у своїх конкурсних списках.
