Vami IV was a Wikipedian from the [[United States of America]] who liked to learn history and use his knowledge to his advantage and that of others. The history of [[North America]] and [[Europe]] was his primary interest, with his favorite period being from the [[Western Roman Empire]] to the dissolution of the [[Holy Roman Empire]] in [[1806]]. Twentieth-century history also intrigued him. He enjoyed writing about [[video games]], historical buildings and places and was also interested in stories about remarkable women. He was known for creating really good content, especially his FAs and GAs. Vami IV [[Special:Diff/1207764632|passed away]] in February 2024.

Vami IV passed away on February 13, 2024. He was a prolific editor in a wide variety of topics, particularly Texas history and wildfires. Some of his most recent accomplishments include bringing [[Doom (2016 video game)]] to Featured Article status, bringing [[Gates of Heaven Synagogue]] to Good Article status, and bringing [[Felix M. Warburg House]] to Featured Article candidacy, the latter two being collaborative projects with other editors. His talent for content work, his sense of humor, and his dedication to history will be remembered by many, many Wikipedians.
