From left to right, in the front row: Lee Strasberg (wearing glasses), Sanford Meisner, Robert Lewis, John Garfield (in checkered shirt with portion of face covered), Harold Clurman, and Paula Strasberg behind his left shoulder. 1st row; Howard Da Silva, Elia Kazan behind John Garfield, 2nd row; Frances Farmer, 3rd row; Will Geer side view with beard, Lee J. Cobb and 4th row; Harry Morgan behind Kazan's right shoulder and Luise Rainer behind Lee. J. Cobb with Oscar Saul (standing, 3rd from right). Clifford Odets, Stella Adler and Joseph Bromberg are not in photo per Kazan.
