Your recent article submission to Articles for Creation has been reviewed! Unfortunately, it has not been accepted at this time. The reason left by 1997kB was:

This submission's references do not adequately show the subject's notability. Wikipedia requires significant coverage (not just mere mentions) about the subject in published, reliable, secondary sources that are independent of the subject—see the guidelines on the notability of people, the golden rule and learn about mistakes to avoid when addressing this issue. Please improve the submission's referencing (see Wikipedia:Referencing for beginners and Help:Introduction to referencing/1), so that the information is verifiable, and there is clear evidence of why the subject is notable and worthy of inclusion in an encyclopedia. If additional reliable sources cannot be found for the subject, then it may not be suitable for Wikipedia at this time.

The comment the reviewer left was:

Sources 1-4 are the news reported by him, but to write an article on SUBJECT, sources should be on SUBJECT; his work is ir-relative here. Now sources 5-7 are talking about same story, that he received award and which is not enough to establish notability. To find out which type of sources are reliable see WP:RS, WP:IS and before picking up a source please check that they are on subject.

Please check the submission for any additional comments left by the reviewer. You are encouraged to edit the submission to address the issues raised and resubmit

when they have been resolved

First newly added source is about a 'Abu Taher Ahmed' and the second is about a group of women called the 'Hargila Army', and the third is about a documentary – Soccer Queens of Rani. Where are the sources ABOUT the actual subject?

This is a good start, and you have two good citations, but you need at least one or two more citations to news articles discussing Boro and his work and impact. Pradip Kurbah is a national award winning filmmaker based in northeast Indian state Meghalaya. [1] His is best known for his films Ri: Homeland of Uncertainty (2013) and Onaatah (2016) [2]. Both these films have won National Awards.

His third film Iewduh is going to be premiered at the 23rd Busan International Film Festival in October. [3] Iewduh is also known as Barabazar which is one of the oldest and largest traditional markets and trade centres in the whole of northeast, in Shillong. The film narrates the daily lives of the people involved with the market and their co-existence with different religions and communities. [4]

His Onaatah has also been made into Marathi language -- Mann Udhan Vaara -- by renowned name of Indian film industry Satish Kaushik and Sanjay Memane. It’s all set to release on October 11, 2019. This is second film from Northeast India to be remade in other Indian languages. Assamese film Chameli Memsaab (1975) by Dr Bhupen Hazarika was made in Hindi and Bengali. [5] [6]

Iewduh will also be screened at the Mumbai International Film Festival in Mumbai which starts from October 17. [7]

Teresa Rehman is an award winning Indian journalist and author. Rehman is based in the northeastern Indian city Guwahati. She has extensively covered the region for several national news outlets including India Today, The Telegraph and Tehelka. [8] [9]

She is best known for her extensive coverage of insurgency in the northeast states and also the violation of human rights. Her story on the killing of Chungkham Sanjit, a former militant by police in Manipur which appeared in Tehelka magazine was widely discussed across the country. [10] Her book Mothers of Manipur narrates the story of 12 extraordinary women who stripped themselves naked to protest the killing of Thangjam Manorama, a 32-year-old woman suspected of being a militant, by Indian Army, in Imphal in 2004. The book was published by Zubaan books. [11]

Her second book, Bullet Proof, published by Penguin, chronicles her journey as a conflict reporter in the trouble-torn area for two decades. The publisher Penguin says that going beyond mere statistics, of deaths and arms recovered, and other documentary evidence, the book shows how conflict impacts women, children, health, environment, sanitation, wildlife and society. This book is a collection of rare human stories from one of the most under-reported regions in the world. [12]

Reviewer Sudipta Datta says for two decades, Teresa Rehman tried to make sense of this large troubled zone which has witnessed “bloodbaths, unrest and violence. “There were many firsts in her assignments which included chasing ULFA (United Liberation Front of Assam) leaders inside a government hospital when they came for checkups; grabbing an interview with one of its top leaders as he appeared in court; meeting a sniper, a senior member of the National Democratic Front of Bodoland,” Datta writes. [13]

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. We appreciate your contributions; however, it appears you may have written a Wikipedia article, or a draft for a Wikipedia article, about yourself, at Draft:Abdul Gani (journalist). Creating an autobiography is strongly discouraged – please see our guideline on writing autobiographies. If you create such an article, it may be deleted. If what you have done in life is genuinely notable and can be verified according to our policy for articles about living people, someone else will probably create an article about you sooner or later (see Notable people who have edited Wikipedia). If you wish to add to or change an existing article about yourself, you are welcome to propose the changes by visiting the article's talk page. Please understand that this is an encyclopedia and not a personal web space or social networking site. If your article has already been deleted, please see: Why was the page I created deleted?, and if you feel the deletion was an error, please discuss this with the deleting administrator. Thank you. jlwoodwa (talk) 14:47, 29 August 2024 (UTC)Reply

An article you recently created, Rekib Ahmed, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. --- ᗩvírαm7(@píng mє-tαlk mє) 04:15, 3 September 2024 (UTC)Reply

The article Sulakshana Mithi Kachari has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Non-notable bureaucrat. Fails WP:ANYBIO

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
