A magnitude 6.3 earthquake struck Bushehr Province, Iran on April 9 2013 at a depth of 10 km, killing at least 30 people.[1][2] The area is home to some ten thousand people and fifty villages, two villages are reported to have been flattened. The earthquake is not reported to have damaged the nearby nuclear reactor in Bushehr.[1] [3] [4] [5] [6]
