In November 2020, Ngo tweeted a selectively edited clip with a misleading and inaccurate description which appeared to show counter-protesters, whom Ngo described as "[Black Lives Matter] rioters", knocking a man out unprovoked who was protesting in the [[Million MAGA March]]. The clip and inaccurate description went viral, as President Trump, among others, retweeted it.
