The band's involvement with Bad News Recordsbrought alsothem gainedto themJapan severalfor livea showsseries inof Japanshows in December 2005, which were received very well. In 2007 Attention released a teaseran EP titled "Stand Strong" featuring all new material. The Stand Strong EP was recorded isin Los Angeles by producer Chris Testa (Jimmy Eat World, Dixie Chicks, Switchfoot) and mixed in Minneapolis by Grammy winner James Harley (Lucinda Williams, Quietdrive). After a 2008 UK tour Attention headed back into the studio theto begin work on a brand new full length album thattitled should"Everything beTakes completedForever." beforeSelf recorded and produced, the endalbum ofwas once again mixed by James Harley, and released in the yearsummer of 2009.
