In the early 1960s, With the rise of Israeli threat against the [[Lebanese Republic]], Ezra's father took him and his brothers, [[Giuseppe Nahmad|Joseph (Giuseppe)]] and [[David Nahmad|David]], to [[Milan]], Italy.
