One of the earliest sports clubs in Landskrona was GF Idrott <ref>Åke Jönsson "100 år av idrott" 1982, prologue</ref> and the oldest one as of today, which was founded in 1882 as a [[gymnastics]] club, which two years later also started an [[athletics (sport)|athletics]] department.
