After leaving ''Coronation Street'', she appeared in ''The Odd Couple'' at the Royal Exchange Theatre, Manchester, before landing a part in the BBC comedy series ''[[The Sharp End]]'' in 1991. She joined ''The Bill'' as Donna Harris in 1991.

Since leaving ''The Bill'', which she was in for nearly five years, she has appeared in other TV series including ''Slap'', ''Sunnyside Farm'', ''Doctors'' and recently ''Heartbeat''. She has appeared in several short films made for TV, and a feature called ''Full Circle'' as well as several theatre roles and commercials. Louise took some time out at one point to attend the [[National Film School]] to do a Producers Course, and also spent time working in casting. Shebefore recently returnedreturning to acting. She has produced and collaborated on several short films, a couple of which were released and shown on TV and as a pre-feature short at selected cinemas. She is married and lives in South West London, and has since retired from acting for the time being.
