Matthew Schure was the president of New York Institute of Technology from 1982 until 2000. Schure holds a bachelor’s degree from Queens College, C.U.N.Y. and M.A., MPh and doctorate from Columbia University. Dr. Matthew Schure is the President and Chief Executive Officer of Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. Preceding Dr. Schure’s appointment at PCOM, he oversaw critical organizational functions at the New York Institute of Technology as President and Chief Executive Officer. While at New York Institute of Technology, Dr. Schure’s additional posts were as Chairperson and Professor of Community Medicine; Deputy Provost/Director of the Human Resources Development Center for the administration of undergraduate and graduate programs in Behavioral Sciences; Associate Dean for Academic Assessment; and Professor of Behavioral Sciences. Dr. Schure is also a Licensed New York State Psychologist.[1][2][3]
