Alhaj Sufi Mohamed Mizanur Rahman is a Bangladeshi industrialist and social worker. He is the founder chairman of one of the largest Bangladeshi business conglomerate PHP Family. He was born on March 12, 1943, at Kanchan village in Rupganj upazila of Narayanganj district. Sufi Mohammed Mizanur Rahman completed his secondary education in 1961 from Bharat Chandra School and higher secondary in 1963 from Tolaram College in Narayanganj. Later, he graduated from Dhaka University with a B.com degree. Sufi Mizanur Rahman has received Ekushey Padak-2020 from HE Sheikh Hasina, The Honourable Prime Minister of Bangladesh, for his contribution and welfare to the society.

Sufi Mizanur Rahman awarded as “Business Person of The Year” by DHL-Daily Star Bangladesh Business Awards in 2003.

His efforts to contribute to social welfare earned PHP Family recognition at the sixth Standard Chartered-Financial Express Corporate Social Responsibility Awards in 2020.

Sufi Mizanur Rahman received Ekushey Padak-2020 from HE Sheikh Hasina, The Honourable Prime Minister of Bangladesh, for his contribution and welfare to the society and mankind.

Personal Life:

Sufi Mizanur Rahman married to Tahmina Rahman and they are happy to have 7 son; Mohammed Mohsin, Mohammed Iqbal Hossain, Mohammed Anowar Hossain, Mohamed Ali Hossain, Mohammed Amir Hossain, Mohammed Zahirul Islam, Mohammed Akther Parvez and one daughter Fatema Tuz Zohra.

Sufi Mohammed Mizanur Rahman is a Bangladeshi industrialist and social worker. He is the founder chairman of the Bangladeshi conglomerate PHP Group of Industries.[1] In recognition of his contribution in social welfare, the government of Bangladesh awarded him the country's second highest civilian award Ekushey Padak in 2020.[2]
