For the fact that soldiers barricaded and shot a set of peaceful protesters in order to shoot, kill and traumatise, the word massacre should be retained. Using a light term like incident is an insult to the lives lost, the number of hearts traumatised. The title is also widely acknowledged already and that's what Wikipedia is about.
