:::Frankly, I found something interesting. The pro-BJP government, right-wing media outlet OpIndia, also mentioned the name.

:::::@[[User:Blaxstocatamazon|Blaxstocatamazon]]: I have cited many mainstream media sources that mention her name, as you can see in the responses section above. I would like your comment on this: do they not fall under Indian law? They are based in India, yet they are not following the law. Meanwhile, Wikipedia is not based in India, but we still have to comply with it? ::::::<s>They definitely fall within India's laws. Thanks for collating them. ::::::It is not a question of the Indian government coming down punitively on WPians. Rather, it is the emotional violence, and sometimes real violence, caused to victims of horrific violence, or to survivors of those who died from violence, in a deeply toxic culture such as India's. The name by being known during the period before penalties have taken full effect, makes the victims or their survivors vulnerable to extra-judicial reprisals. :::::::@[[User:Fowler&fowler|Fowler&fowler]]:I struckthrough your remark about India's toxic culture. India is at the apogee of world civilisation along with Chinese and Mexican civilisations. For instance, the Tamil language is the oldest singularly consistent extant language. In UK they were tossing out slop pots from windows onto the streets below millenia after the Indus Valley civilisation had urban planning, water supply and drainage/sewage. We therefore encourage you to explain clearly why you feel the balance of interests lies one way or the other, in order to reach consensus accordingly. Not only does this enrich and support the functioning and content of the projects, but it allows the Foundation to support and explain those decisions to the extent possible, and to ensure that authorities and Wikipedia readers at large take into consideration the function and purpose of the encyclopedia when they have concerns about content. :{{ping|JSutherland (WMF)}} Thanks for your intervention. Would you care to clarify why WMF cares if irresponsible / ignorant editors (and there is at least 1) from India get arrested or prosecuted for posting content illegal in their own country, and then bragging about it here. As a followup, considering the said WMF user from India is a minor (aiming to be a doctor himself one day) and his account should not have been opened in the first place without parental consent, does WMf plan to do conduct an OFFICE ACTION considering what the Task Force for Doctors Safety observed today about Wikipedia's role ?
