Update graphs?
Does not include all significant viewpoints?
Hi,

The main graphs showing world total energy production and US energy flow are from 2012 and 2011 respectfully. It is more than a decade later. Someone should update these graphs for the 2020s. I would really appreciate it. 🙏🙏🙏 184.147.47.69 (talk) 05:15, 31 December 2023 (UTC)

Wiki Edu Assignment: Oceanic Section Under Review
Hello fellow Wikipedians,

In the next couple weeks, I will be revising and editing this article for an energy and sustainability course project. I would appreciate any feedback on my proposed edits, which I will be working on in my user sandbox. So far, my planned changes to the article include:

Please bullet list examples and perspective to improve the article. --J. D. Redding 13:56, 8 August 2013 (UTC)

* Under the Oceanic section, I have modified the first paragraph by specifying how Marine Renewable energy works from a physics perfective, which information wasn't in the article before.

Johnfos I am concerned that this edit deleted some important facts. I like :File:Energy-trends.png and hope it can help address this issue. Which articles do you think it can be best used to illustrate? Tim AFS (talk) 15:30, 16 January 2014 (UTC)

:Hi Tim, The source of the Energy trends image is BP, so it would probably be best located in BP-related articles. For a general energy article like this the best sources are authoritative ones like the International Energy Agency and IPCC... Johnfos (talk) 04:50, 18 January 2014 (UTC)

:Hi, Have expanded the opening RE paragraph somewhat to provide a better overview, and the key stats appear in sections below... Johnfos (talk) 04:49, 27 January 2014 (UTC)

* Adding a section on Marine energy technology, and its development in different countries, and analyzing its sustainability.

Section removed?
* Reorganizing the three paragraphs in a way that is easier to read and adding more information to it, what do you think is missing?

* Updating and adding citations to all three paragraphs by adding 5 new sources which have been published no later than 2022.

Global studies indicate that even without introducing taxes, subsidy and trade barrier removal at a sectoral level would improve efficiency and reduce environmental damage. Removal of these subsidies would substantially reduce GHG emissions and stimulate economic growth.

Hello fellow Wikipedians,

Energy development diff
In the next couple weeks, I will be revising and editing this article for an energy and sustainability course project. I would appreciate any feedback on my proposed edits, which I will be working on in my user sandbox. So far, my planned changes to the article include:

Energy development diff

* Updating the sources for information on renewable energy sources

https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Energy_development&diff=601773390&oldid=590173048

* Updating the statistics regarding renewable energy consumption and production (some over 10 years old)

* Diversifying the sources in the general info part of the Renewable sources section, currently almost all from one source

* Lastly adding more information about renewable energy's role in developing countries

Thanks! Bongofish2 (talk) 00:41, 19 February 2024 (UTC)

Seems as if lots of information was removed here. --J. D. Redding 13:33, 5 April 2014 (UTC)
