Lead
- Inconsistent description of hair with the body of the article; calls them pigtails in the lead, but ponytails in the body. Also, does it have either? To me, it seems like she just let her hair down.
- Should be fixed.
- Inconsistent pronoun use; uses they/them/their/theirs at some points, she/her/hers at others, and it/its at others
- Fixed. I did leave the one instance of her in regards to Unite's commentary, as it's a singular Tinkaton. Can't do anything about the other quotes that use she or its sadly.
Infobox
- Not related, but god it'd be neat if there was a way to say "Pokemon species" instead of character so we could remove a field.
- Yeah that may be worthwhile to bring up to the infobox page, had something else I wanted to mention there.
Appearances
- Is the description of "toddler" mentioned in RS or primary sources?
- Removed it.
- Taxi shouldn't be in quotes, as it's an understandable word and accurately depicts a taxi service
- Fixed
Reception
- Is there no commentary to do with the mismatch between Corviknight and Tinkaton in gameplay?
- Sadly the only discussions about their matchup were in GameRant and Screenrant
Images
- All good.
Sources
Still need to do this.
- All good. :v - Cukie Gherkin (talk) 03:09, 2 August 2023 (UTC)Reply
Tinkaton#Design_and_appearances. The first section only explains what Pokémon is, it isn't related to the specific pokemon at all, it's unnecessary --MystiiFlareon2 (talk) 08:29, 26 January 2024 (UTC)Reply
- On the contrary, it's been established across FAs and GAs that this information is important to help establish terminology for the rest of the article and help a reader unfamiliar with Pokemon understand what they're reading.--Kung Fu Man (talk) 14:56, 26 January 2024 (UTC)Reply
- The section is exactly the same as the one from List of generation I Pokémon and a bunch of other pages such as Wooloo, and I still think it is way too exessive for a sub-page like this considering you can just click on Pokémon which is linked multiple times throughout the article, if someone somehow don't know what it is. I think the section (and by extension the one on the other pages that use this text as wel), should be shorter at least. --MystiiFlareon2 (talk) 07:59, 29 January 2024 (UTC)Reply
- Well judging from the discussion on WT:VGCHAR you're in the minority point of view there...I mean I know you're newish to the site, but there was a reason and several discussions along the way for that paragraph.--Kung Fu Man (talk) 08:14, 29 January 2024 (UTC)Reply
- Alright, opinions differ after all and I have a tendency to make things bigger than they need to be, sorry :p.
- Also, if I have other video-game page related questions that apply to multiple pages, (such as that Pokémon info text), should I be using this page? --MystiiFlareon2 (talk) 09:40, 31 January 2024 (UTC)Reply
