I guess that most readers don't know that in Tibetan feudal times, monasteries had their own armories or that the [[Gelug]] at one time engaged in violence in an attempt to terminate the [[Nyingma]] school. The answer to her question is "yes": there are many examples of Tibetan Buddhists who advocated violence against the Chinese during their invasion of Tibet as well.
