Hello back, 24! Thanks for posting to my messy user page - I have to clean up some of those deletion notices for pictures that I figured out how to justify.
I'd add to what I said - and not to contradict you - that your initial approach to raising your points was quite professional. Believe me, lots of folks have stormed over onto that page especially and made a mess and alienated others with attitude. Your assertion of good faith, however mistaken in your view, goes a long way to create an attentive audience for your voice, I think.
I find that what you refer to as my cordiality is just a good way to get a working conversation going, one of the objectives being to improve the article in question. Another is just to have a good conversation, and your excellent posting over on LBH is just that. I saw your comments at WP:SCOWNB. I too would encourage you to take the plunge. I began editing a few Scottish island articles. For a while I wondered if was more-or-less alone, but I found a few fellow-editors and it has now turned into a fully-fledged project (see [[WP:ISLE]]).
