:Sure that'd be fine. Just to clarify, I think Polygon is perfectly RS for coverage of games, I just don't think it's RS for topics unrelated to games like crime reporting, medical news, economics trends and analysis, French elections, etc. Chetsford (talk) 15:19, 7 July 2020 (UTC)

::This is where I fundamentally disagree. I think that media outlets that cover niche topics (to the extent we can call the multi-billion dollar gaming industry niche) can reliably report on people in the industry even when that reporting is on crimes or allegations of crimes by people in the industry. I would go a step further and say this kind of reporting in the wake of the MeToo movement is vital to the health of these niche communities because reporters are doing their jobs of holding industry accountable for the actions people in it take. For example, Kotaku has done some amazing coverage on this issue in video games 1 2. That kind of reporting could only be done by a niche outlet who had built up relationships of trust & a good reputation in their industry. So Polygon (which is held to same editorial standards as the other Vox Media properties & articles are cross-shared across these properties) is a reliable source on allegations of harassment in the gaming sphere. I would say this Polygon article is a RS on the pervasive nature of harassment in the industry and should be referenced wherever the specific cases are mentioned on Wikipedia.
