Are you here because I deleted your article? Please read this before you leave me a message.

You deleted this page and i did read your page on deletions and don't believe David fits those categories. He is a regular contributor on several news stations across the globe and a well-known businessman and political activist. Please advise how to reestablish this page correctly. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Ddonofrio (talkcontribs) 18:02, 8 February 2011 (UTC)Reply

Hi!

You deleted the page about myself Nenad Puhovski which I created to a large extend with an attempt to give information, not any kind of judgments or praises.

All of the facts I put on the page were easily verifiable on the Internet, from a number of sources.

Recently, somebody edited the page adding only one sentence, describing me as a Jew, or Croatian Jew.

I deleted several times that edit because:

a) It was based (quoted) on the title of an interview I gave about the threats I received. In the article itself (http://www.nacional.hr/clanak/13899/ponovno-mi-prijete-da-ce-me-ubiti-jer-sam-zidov), I am explaining that only once I declared my self as a Jew (being of a very mixed descent) and that was in nineties, when president Tudjman said that he is happy his wife wasn't neither Serb nor Jew, and when I was forced to declare myself to be a Croat. I did it as a protest, but never spoke about myself as a Jew. Of course, the news reporter created the article title by herself. b) I am living in Croatia where thousand of people, together with the people from the rest of the region were killed for being of the „wrong“ nationality. I was always trying to promote the rights of different minorities and do not want myself to be identified with any nationality, specially not in articles like this one. c) I am wondering why a person who edited „my“ page was interested only in one issue, and this one was constructed wrongly based on nothing more than a news article title.

Consequently, I am kindly asking you to bring the page back in its original form.

Hi!

Thanks for your message, but, with all respect, it is a bit strange that, after being on-line for more than a year, it has disappeared just after I deleted that I am a Jew.

This is, of course your right, but, frankly, it doesn't smell good.

Malik - thanks for your response. Here is a small example of how David is a "notable person" - http://www.davidramadan.com/videolibrary/.

These are just a handful of clips of TV appearances that David has made, he has also been a key component of the RNC's recent "Fire Pelosi" Bus Tour and numerous other events.

Let me know if there are additional examples that you need and I'll provide them.

I respectfully request that you restore David Ramadan's wiki page. Thanks. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Ddonofrio (talkcontribs) 13:23, 9 February 2011 (UTC)Reply

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2010/08/16/gops-ground-zero-mosque-r_n_683509.html http://bov.gmu.edu/ramadan.html - David is the youngest person ever named to the GMU Board. http://voices.washingtonpost.com/virginiapolitics/2010/07/mcdonnell_appoints_supporters.html?wprss=virginiapolitics

A perhaps you misunderstood my point about the videos. He is asked regularly to contribute to TV news programs analyzing politics. That in and of itself should justify a wiki site. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 169.130.88.126 (talk) 19:55, 9 February 2011 (UTC)Reply

Since you recently commented on Falafel, might you be willing to look at some of the changes/additions that are being proposed at the talk page and provide any relevant feedback or input? Warm regards, -- nsaum75 !Dígame¡ 08:57, 10 February 2011 (UTC)Reply

Hello Malik,

I wrote the other day asking why you removed my company's page. It had been there for years, but was typoed. I only wanted to change the typo (our name is Blue Sky Network, not Blue Sky Networks) and now it's gone :(

Can you please repost? I don't quite understand how this all works.

Thanks, Matt Casper, on behalf of Blue Sky Network — Preceding unsigned comment added by MattBlueSky (talkcontribs) 19:52, 10 February 2011 (UTC)Reply

You may have noticed that you and I haven't had to revert, answer, or otherwise deal with posts on a controversial person's talk page that was being treated as a forum after archives were set up and everything or nearly everything was archived. Some things are pleasant. Reaching into a field that's not the same thing, there's a line used in domestic violence work: "It feels so good when you stop." I'm glad we benefited. I explained on the discussion page of the Pally People article why I thought the PLO's militancy should be mentioned. The article said it was a diplomatic organ, but this is only half true. If you mention the PLO, you have to mention its part in the Armed Resistance.

I didn't use that dirty T word. I added that the PLO maintains a paramilitary wing. This is true. No, it is not a thing of the past. They parade around with guns and home-made uniforms all the time.

So, the PLO has a paramilitary wing currently. It is not a thing of the past, like you imply in your revision comments. You also ask why it needs to be in the article. I didn't add mention of the PLO. I only balanced the reference from saying it is a "representative of the people" to saying that it is a diplomatic and paramilitary group.

I respect that you do a lot of work for Wiki and I'll assume you deserve your Admin title, but you twice removed material that was properly explained in the discussion and backed up by the relevant wiki pages and further helped to add balance to an otherwise problematic page.

Can you use the discussion forum and explain yourself before reverting further?
