Hello. I went on Rick Ross' page to check out his biography and saw that a mug shot is being used for his photo. I'm sure that this wasn't intentional, but it just doesn't seem appropriate to use for an artist. I found this on Google Images; not sure if you can use it but it seems better, and more respectful.

Thanks!

@Vigelande12: There is a discussion on the talk page a few months ago where it was deemed okay. It is basically the only free image we have of his full face and it is not obviously a mugshot. STATic message me! 05:40, 4 March 2014 (UTC)Reply

You will stop with your harassment now. Enough. Reece Leonard (talk) 06:59, 5 March 2014 (UTC)Reply

@Reece Leonard: Laughing out loud. Sounds like the pot calling the kettle black. I have never harassed you, sorry try again. This is the only harassment I see. STATic message me! 07:03, 5 March 2014 (UTC)Reply
You brought all of that before an advisement board and they disagreed. Stop sending me baseless messages and warnings. I don't care what you think about me, but seriously grow up and leave me alone. Reece Leonard (talk) 07:12, 5 March 2014 (UTC)Reply
@Reece Leonard: Disagreed? User:Homeostasis07 did you see any "disagreement" at all? The administrators completely agreed with us and practically laughed off your ridiculous remarks. When you edit war, they are not baseless and if you continue with the horrid editing you will be blocked. Sorry brodie, but the only one that needs growing up is you. STATic message me! 07:18, 5 March 2014 (UTC)Reply
You have a seriously warped vision of a board that ultimately decided that your claims against me were baseless and declined your request. What the hell is a brodie? Look, enough. Seriously. We're done discussing this and I'm done interacting with you unless I have no alternative. Reece Leonard (talk) 08:10, 5 March 2014 (UTC)Reply
I will reiterate: Do not interact with me unless it is absolutely necessary to do so as I want to avoid these kinds of disagreements in the future. You are not allowed to remove other people's messages from talk pages, but I refuse to engage in your attempts to draw me into another argument so that you can have a second attempt at banning me. Enough. Do not interact with me again. Reece Leonard (talk) 09:19, 5 March 2014 (UTC)Reply
@Reece Leonard: See WP:NPA which you continue to violate, the removal was clearly justified. STATic message me! 09:25, 5 March 2014 (UTC)Reply
I'm just going to point out this instance where you attempted to chastise me for doing exactly what you just did for the sole purpose of highlighting your hypocrisy before never speaking to you again: X Reece Leonard (talk) 09:32, 5 March 2014 (UTC)Reply
@Reece Leonard: That comment is barley uncivil, it is not a full blown personal attack like every single one of your damn posts. At least that person was commenting on the content not the contributors. Please do not ever do that again. I am so sick of seeing you saying my name in every single discussion. For you to think this is appropriate: [1] [2] [3] [4] [5] is ridiculous. STATic message me! 16:34, 5 March 2014 (UTC)Reply
You're choosing to interpret my actions as personal attacks. I think you've misinterpreted what I was trying to do with those messages on those user's pages. I wasn't trying to slander you at all; I was trying to combat the argument that they were going to see on those pages that you made about my alleged bias. That was it. I only mention your name when you're involved in the discussion at hand. Let me also point out that you were the one to initiate the "commenting on users instead of content" when you accused me of not having a WP:NPOV for no reason at the start of the conversation over the critical consensus on the Artpop page. Reece Leonard (talk) 16:48, 5 March 2014 (UTC)Reply
@Reece Leonard: No if you read WP:NPA you would know they are. I am not misinterpreting anything, you were blatantly slandering me across multiple pages. You need to learn to comment on content not contributors. And why do you think I accused you of not having a NPOV? Because you do not and it is blatantly obvious. But do not comment here again, I am done replying to you. STATic message me! 17:47, 5 March 2014 (UTC)Reply
Reece, whether your remarks were intended as personal attacks or not, this does seem to be a case of harassment on your part, which includes repeatedly doing things towards others that they find irritating. XXSNUGGUMSXX (talk) 19:14, 5 March 2014 (UTC)Reply
@Reece Leonard: Reece, just STOP! No admin ever agreed with your opinion. Anyone who wants to read the entire thing can do so here. That thread was simply automatically archived after 36 hours of inactivity. DO NOT USE IT AS AN EXCUSE TO HARASS OTHER USERS! Homeostasis07 (talk) 01:36, 6 March 2014 (UTC)Reply

Okay so I know you will just tell me that any single that appears on the album and is available to purchase is official BUT...Dark Horse/Walking On Air were available for purchase as a promotional singles because they were simply available to purchase off the albums preorder. Break the Bank was released this way as well/has no radio release date so that can only mean that it's technically a promtional single too, right? BlaccCrab (talk) 10:36, 6 March 2014 (UTC)Reply

@BlaccCrab: No "Break the Bank" was released for digital download as a single as seen here. This is referenced on the album and song article. STATic message me! 20:45, 6 March 2014 (UTC)Reply

Walking On air has that too, it's just a link to an individual song off amazon [6]. They were both released the same way, a song to download off of itunes pre-preorder BlaccCrab (talk) 20:52, 6 March 2014 (UTC)Reply

Ok so the link you gave me is just a link to the track off the album but I found the link to the single. How does a song being released on amazon qualify it as a single? a 6 minute track that never gets sent to radio can't possibly be considered an official single BlaccCrab (talk) 20:59, 6 March 2014 (UTC)Reply

@BlaccCrab: Yes it was released on there February 17, 2014 in the link I gave you, prior to the album's release as a retail single in the format of digital download. Promotional singles are only song's released for free or only available with the iTunes pre-order. If they have a separate download page they are a single. As for the weird way pop articles work sometimes see WP:WAX and yes a six minute song that may be sent to radio is a single as I just explained. In no way is a radio release required to be a "official single". STATic message me! 21:46, 6 March 2014 (UTC)Reply

[7] this is a video on youtube that explains everything I've been telling you. I believe you have awful intentions to hide the truth (which is the man was born August 30, 1978), for reason im unaware; maybe because your jealous. He was one of three underage boys in 1994 to be sent to federal prison. Ten years later, when he got out, leaves him in his twenties. Ten years after that, which is current time, puts him in his thirties! im not sure of your personal reasons but please stop lying on his Wikipedia page it is hurtful to his fans. Don't know if this will change your opinion you seem dead set on ageing this man. But if authenticity means anything to you the honest truth will be displayed. 173.71.187.68 (talk) 17:47, 7 March 2014 (UTC)Reply

That explains nothing. In the source does he say that he was born on August 30, 1978? Then it is WP:OR. There are two sources cited in the article that place him as older. You are coming up with these bad faith accusations and I am not trying to "age him" at all. According to the NY Post he was 37 in 2010 [8]. STATic message me! 18:07, 7 March 2014 (UTC)Reply

@GabeMc: There is no bullying going on at all, you obviously just do not understand guidelines and policies. Referring to a single revert as "bullying" is just beyond ridiculous. @GabeMc: Yes this is Wikipedia, you will be reverted quite often just as everyone is, try to get used to it. And the hilarity in that thought is becoming. It would take me more than two hands to count how many times me and Dan have reverted eachother in the four years I have been here. I only commented on that page (did not revert anything), since you obviously refused to abide by a WP:NPOV on that article and as many other editors told you, you were wrong. But please I do not want you to harass me all the time like you do Dan, so in the future just abide by WP:BRD and discuss controversial changes. Hello, this is me, firehawksal19. I will try to comprehensive and open minded as I can. The reason why I changed the music genres in Escape the Fate's Wikipedia article is because their music sounds more than what the article described it as before I edited the page. Back then, before I had a Wikipedia account, I went on their page and not only were they listed as "Post-hardcore", "hard rock" and "emo", they were also listed as "Alternative metal" and "metalcore". I've listened to their music, and not only do I consider their music as post-hardcore, I also believe they are a heavy metal/alternative metal/metalcore band as well. I know it seems stupid, but that why I edited the page. Feel free to reply back to me if you need to.

Considering that the site has been in operation for over a decade, evolved from the original 1wrestling.com, and are staffed with guys whom once were employed in ECW, and have many sources within WWE, TNA, ROH, and across the indy lanscape, I would like to know how they are considered "unreliable"? They've even had Tod Gordon, Bruno Sammartino, Jim Cornette, and even Triple H on the site. And currently they have Mike "Nova/Simon Dean" Bucci and Paul London as occasional contributors. They are not tabloid writers, but reputable journalist with actual resumes in pro wrestling, and current contacts that include active performers and employees in the companies they report.

So, can you explain to me how they are unreliable when just about every story they break or report are 100% true? And in the even that they post erroneous information, they have the class to publicly apologize for it. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Risephoenixrise (talkcontribs) 22:06, 10 March 2014 (UTC)Reply

@Risephoenixrise: I was referring to Wrestlezone and that PWinsider is only allowed to be used for noncontroversial things such as match results, not rumors or speculation. STATic message me! 03:01, 11 March 2014 (UTC)Reply

Again, your perception of that site are not reality. They are not in the business of rumors or speculation, they have posted legitimate news for over a decade--and even longer when they were staffed under Bob Ryder and Joey Styles's 1wrestling.com. They are a reliable source. If they weren't a reliable source, then why does Mike Bucci and Paul London contribute to their site? If they weren't a reliable source then why did Jim Cornette, Bruno Sammartino, and Triple H (yes, THAT Triple H) agree to do audio shoot interviews with the site? They have sources that they double and triple-check that are employed within WWE and TNA, and every organization they write a story on. The story that I posted of Punk's walkout was not a rumor whatsoever, as been proven in the weeks that preceeded it. The story actually happened, and the source was indeed a credible one because the events I described were 100% true. There was no rumor involved.

The only speculation that exists, with all due respect, is your speculation that their work is not legitimate news. They have resumes in the business and report NOTHING unless they have a story that can be double-sourced and has legs. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Risephoenixrise (talkcontribs) 03:51, 11 March 2014 (UTC)Reply

Dear STATic VaPor,

I would like to inform you of the Professional Wrestler Rob Van Dam and why he has taken 'time off' from World Wrestling Entertainment since 7th October 2013. Many superstars which perform in Professional Wrestling tend to take 'time off' every once in a while however their contracts are not terminated. Stipulations in their contracts provide them with limited amount of appearances over a certain time period, may it be over a month or a year. When companies like the WWE announce their superstars are taking 'time off' it usually means they are going to have vacation time or rehabilitate from an injury however the company informs the public of this through their official website and social media. After RVD lost to Alberto Del Rio at Battleground he had to take 'time off' due to his written contract he signed with the company. These stipulations have always been present in not only WWE but many other Professional Wrestling companies. For example, WWE Wrestler CM Punk has taken 'time off' although he still has a legal contract to the company. His still remains a WWE employee however he has taken upon himself to have his vacation now although it is very troublesome for the company with Wrestlemania 30, the biggest wrestling showcase on the planet set to take place a month from now.

It pains me to say this but the only link I could find which supported my information on RVD's 'time off' has come from Bleachrreport. http://bleacherreport.com/articles/1806696-rob-van-dam-disputes-online-reports-claims-hell-be-back-in-wwe

The article itself details of RVD apparently having a dispute with the booking team and how he has been handled since returning to the company. However this is not the case and he confirms these reports of mistreatment are nonsense, which everyone believes they are. Referencing RVD's absence with WWE.com is not enough in depth news on his hiatus from the company for over 3 months. I have worked with a number of Professional Wrestling promotions such as SMASH, Chikara and Dragon Gate USA. Reviewing contracts of such popular talents as Yoshihiro Tajiri, Dave Finlay, Yoshihiro Asai and Masanori Murakawa. My knowledge of the Professional Wrestling business and how it works are of a very high standard and has been for many years.

Thank you for taking your time to read this.

Deluxe Editor.

Exactly what I thought, but agree it's too early to say. He's getting a little more sly in how he edits as a sock. Looks like he now will test for a few days with IP edits and account edits to see if anyone's on to him. Then the edits occur more frequently if he thinks he's in the clear. -- Winkelvi 03:54, 12 March 2014 (UTC)Reply
@XXSNUGGUMSXX: @Winkelvi: Definitely has been attempting to be more slick with it. Yeah and once he edits more, then they get blocked. I do not know what sockmasters get out of wasting their time with stuff like this, it gets quite annoying after they do this for months on end.. STATic message me! 03:58, 12 March 2014 (UTC)Reply
To think that only two months ago Monterrosa had a chance to edit freely after a week without wiki activity and completely wasted that chance by attempting to evade the one-week block, which grew into a three-week for one attempt of evasion and then indefinite for another. Not sure how much longer this will go on for if it hasn't already stopped. Winkelvi has been quite diligent in seeking out the numerous socks made since..... XXSNUGGUMSXX (talk) 04:05, March 12, 2014 (UTC)
I know, evading that block was a huge mistake for them and yeah got to give credit to Winkelvi for weeding out all the socks this guy has made. STATic message me! 04:31, 12 March 2014 (UTC)Reply

OK, I'm not being disruptive by editing professional wrestling articles. Some of the stuff I can't find sources for. It's not like I'm trolling or anything, I'm actually adding useful information. So please quit spamming up my talk page. Thanks! Jgera5 (talk) 15:11, 13 March 2014 (UTC)Reply

@Jgera5: For about the fifth time, understand that adding original research or unsourced content is not okay and will get you blocked just as easy as trolling. Adding original research is disruptive, if you cannot find a reliable source for what you are adding, do not add it. Simple as that. I am not spamming anything, you are actually lucky I did not give you a final warning like you deserved. STATic message me! 15:22, 13 March 2014 (UTC)Reply

You need to provide sources directly next to your peaks as the sources provided do not support your peaks. You should never tell editors go here or there for your inserted peaks. You should learn to follow wikipedia's policies once and for all. Your edit, by the way, removes my sources that I provided for the peaks in the table of Other Charted Songs.--Harout72 (talk) 17:21, 13 March 2014 (UTC)Reply

@Harout72: No I have not, read the edit for once. I cited the source and you are not reading the damn citation that is there. I did not remove a single citation that you added. Go to the source I cited and click enter. Use CTRL-F if you must, but the peaks are all there. STATic message me! 17:24, 13 March 2014 (UTC)Reply
It doesn't bring up any result when you type in Rick Ross and also the name of the songs, "In Vein", or "Nobody". It does, however, when only Rick Ross is typed in. I wish you could start pointing these details out properly, before blindly reverting the entire page to a version that removes other sources, that editors provide carefully. If the peaks you add are in the sources other the main sources already provided on the discography pages, then you need to provide those additional sources. Do not expect anyone to go fetch them for you. This is simple verifiability.--Harout72 (talk) 17:37, 13 March 2014 (UTC)Reply
@Harout72:Yes the database messes up like that, when you search for some artists it turns up no results, yet we have verification of multiple chartings. Same thing when you try to search both artist and song. This was not a blind revert like your edits were, the positions for Devil Is A Lie were on Billboard, which I thought was being used a citation, but I forgot you decided to mess up the whole article because Billboard was adjusting their website. The verifiable proof was provided in the diff you just provided, but how surprising you refuse to WP:AGF and remain civil like usual and you just blindly revert more times when content was clearly cited here, yet you reverted again. In regards to this, I think instead of reverting immediately when you see something added by a usually reliable editor, you need to see if it checks out. Just my two cents. CRRaysHead90 | #WelcomeHome 04:56, 18 March 2014 (UTC)Reply

@CRRaysHead90: Do you know how many fake themes have been added over the last few months? Per our policy WP:V, all content must be backed by a reliable source when added the first time. I was offline for a few hours and there were almost 50 new edits on the page, including some by multiple editors that frequently add false or unsourced content (no need to list them), so I had no idea who had added it. I just noticed that new addition. Sorry for the confusion. STATic message me! 05:06, 18 March 2014 (UTC)Reply
