:::Our views on the underlying matter are totally irreconcilable. We therefore need to come to an understanding. This understanding must be predicated by current WP practice - which is no changes in either direction. Neither of us likes this approach - in that we would both prefer what we each see as being the preferable convention to be used throughout WP. This is the best compromise on offer.
