It would be better to unblock me so that I can edit WP:AN, and then ask me to not edit elsewhere except my own userspace. But that still doesn't solve the problem that I'll need to present evidence which is confidential. Alex has intentionally made it nearly impossible to get unblocked because I called him out on his bullshit. We give people extra buttons so that they can protect the encyclopedia against (for example) undisclosed COI edits, not to defend the ego of an admin who can't handle criticism. WP:GAB may be useful in cases where the block is justified, but in cases like this is it counterproductive. Why do people value the uninformed opinions of people who have not asked any questions and haven't done the research required to understand a situation anyway? To complicate things even further, the incriminating information that used to be publicly available has been hidden (I have an archived version).
