Temporary semi-protection: Persistent vandalism. Jalen Folf (talk) 20:57, 7 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

User(s) blocked: 174.228.128.0/18 (talk · contribs) blocked by Ohnoitsjamie. Not seeing enough disruption to warrant protection on top of that. Extraordinary Writ (talk) 01:10, 8 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Added CTOPS notice to talk page. Daniel Case (talk) 02:54, 8 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Reason: Live updates. Or stop user 213.110.126.122 doing that after having been warned multiple times. Island92 (talk) 21:45, 7 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Declined The user has stopped. As I said at AIV, they need to be warned more. Daniel Case (talk) 03:14, 8 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Reason: Constant disruptive editing by IPs over many months. GraziePrego (talk) 23:51, 7 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Declined – Not enough recent disruptive activity to justify protection. Almost no editing in the last 24 hours. But I have put a CTOPS notice on the talk page. Daniel Case (talk) 03:16, 8 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Temporary semi-protection: Content Dispute/Edit Warring. copyvio issues Geardona (talk to me?) 01:55, 8 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Declined The copyvio issues appear to have been resolved, and the article was just created today. I have created a talk page with a CTOPS notice. Let's see how things play out. Daniel Case (talk) 03:10, 8 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Semi-protection: Persistent addition of unsourced or poorly sourced content – Also apparent sock puppetry to reinstate unsourced content. Possible WP:COI issues too. Taking Out The Trash (talk) 04:28, 8 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

  User(s) blocked. Ks0stm (TCGE) 04:41, 8 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Reason: Looks like vandalism whereby I have described the person as a 'public intellectual' citing sources and an editor has been changing it to 'author'; that Wikipedia account appears created specifically to work on this Wiki page. AltruisticHomoSapien (talk) 05:50, 8 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Declined as this isn't vandalism, it is a content dispute. It needs to go to the talk page of the article. Dennis Brown 06:00, 8 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Semi-protection: BLP policy violations – Multiple IPs changing birthdate against sourcing. Geraldo Perez (talk) 06:39, 8 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Reason: WP:GS/RUSUKR Ccole2006 (talk) 06:39, 8 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Extended confirmed protected indefinitely. I feel like this is stretching even the definition of "broadly construed", but okay. Anyone should feel free to revert this if you disagree. Chetsford (talk) 06:57, 8 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
