I get the following error when trying to publish changes on behalf of Todd Martin: Error contacting the Parsoid/RESTBase server (HTTP 404) Please help! -sjohnson
It happens to me sometimes too; usually when I've been editing for a while. A work around is to open the undeited article in another tab and copy and paste from the page with the error to the newly opened page. Johnragla (talk) 01:28, 26 August 2021 (UTC)Reply

I had spent 3 days working on this draft, then came back after the weekend, and it's all blank.

- But did u save when u were working on it ? Wikipedia doesn't have something like autosave. You need to publish in order to save and make sure that something exists anywhere other than in your browser’s memory. Even drafts —TheDJ (talk • contribs) 18:37, 24 August 2021 (UTC)Reply

- don't spend days within the editor. There is no autosave, regularly publish whatever you are working on. This also avoids edit conflicts. —TheDJ (talk • contribs) 11:32, 26 August 2021 (UTC)Reply
Hello. As it appears there is no quick way to set column borders in wikitext, I wanted to do it with the Visual Editor, but it seems it lacks this functionality. Thanks. Trigenibinion (talk) 01:17, 27 August 2021 (UTC)Reply

- User agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; Win64; x64; rv:90.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/90.0
With either the source editor or the visual editor, clicking the edit button doesn't show me the existing references for me to use as a template, nor indicate any way for me to add one. Very confusing. I know I've added references to articles before, years ago. You all have changed something so it's not intuitive at all. Or am I using a "wrong" browser (Firefox, not the latest version but not THAT old)?
- User agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; Win64; x64; rv:90.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/90.0
I figured out how to add a reference; it's still weird not being able to see the references list when you click on the Edit button for the references section.

I added a "Infobox scientist" in the "George Leitmann" article including his portrait among other field entries. I would like to delete the previously inserted portrait Image to avoid duplication. But I could not find a way to deleted it. As a temporary measure I minimized that portrait Image to 1x1 pixels for it not to be apparent. However, in the PC version of display, a small rectangular box appears above the "Infobox scientist" box & push down the "Infobox scientist" box, and viewer of that page can click the 1x1 pixel icon to blow up the portrait Image.
Please teach me how to delete that 1x1 pixel Image box so the "Infobox scientist" box will be moved up to be conform with other articles having a Infobox. Thank you very much!

I can't add a video or an external link to the video. Video format is mp4. error message says, file name not allowed or something similar.
link is to a youtube page. message says it is blacklisted.
not sure what is wrong.
Passionforlifegallery (talk) 22:32, 11 November 2021 (UTC)Reply
- Passionforlifegallery, the issue is that you are trying to link to a YouTube video, which is rarely an acceptable source. Wikipedia is not here for people to push their YouTube channel. Seraphimblade Talk to me 21:15, 27 November 2021 (UTC)Reply

Sirspensir (talk) 21:12, 27 November 2021 (UTC)Reply
- Sirspensir, you removed the template with that. You seem to have fixed it now. That said, you will want to correct at least a couple of things: The lead section should not have a header, and Prabook is not an appropriate source. Seraphimblade Talk to me 21:17, 27 November 2021 (UTC)Reply
- Seraphimblade Okay, thank you I shall fix those things. Besides that does it seem like this person is notable enough for an article? I am also having trouble with something else. When I select 'submit my draft for review, I cannot change the title from 'Sirspensir/Sandbox" How to I change the title to the name of the person? Thank you — Preceding unsigned comment added by Sirspensir (talk • contribs) 21:20, 27 November 2021 (UTC)Reply
Okay, I think I figured it out. Is it most common to simply copy the source code and create a new draft? That's what I did.
