Maine is one of the poorest states in country (old population very little industry) however there are many trees. ~80% of the state heats with heating oil and too many people have to make hard decisions when winter is particularly cold or long. Numerous state bureaucracies, tasks forces, non-profits, and a couple of educational institutions and private businesses have been involved in trying to build the regulatory and commercial environment that would allow Mainers to heat with a local and renewable fuel. For sometime Maine Energy Systems the primary business involved with this movement was mentioned on the wood pellet page. I appreciate that WP is an encyclopedia of sorts and not a marketing tool, however I believe it is worthwhile to have more in the US section of the wood pellets page than ...some companies import European boilers. Could you help me to understand what would be appropriate in this section that is more informative to people interested in wood pellet heat? I am completely new to Wikipedia and really would like to make sure I practice proper etiquette. In case you haven't guessed the idea that my neighbors know they can heat with a fuel that they can afford, creates jobs, keeps money in the region, and is renewable matters to me. And I think that it is notable information, I just would like to know what I need to make sure I say (and keep out) when I try and make sure it is included on Wikipedia. Sorry for the long talk, this probably isn't even the correct forum to discuss this, sorry for that as well. I have and will continue for answers for myself, but any response you can give me will surely prove helpful. The reason i was editing that page is that i am in favour of wood pellets, but if the arguments come across as marketing, or trying to push a point; they are likely to put people off. Please read about Wikipedia policy: Wikipedia:Neutral_point_of_view is a good place to start re this issue. : Rather than just list companies, do some research on the companies, what are they doing, how big are they, were do they sell, etc, and then put this sort of information in but without highlighting the company names - use good sources, company pages are usually good for that, and people can follow the links to get the marketing information - it just doesn't belong on WP. The waterbowl offerings were made during December 2007, at the original site, which is in Bodhgaya. I will try to make the appropriate source available, but please do not consider it vandalism. I fully understand Wikipedia's policies, however, I really wish to make it known, since FPMT may not post everytime. =) But definitely, I WILL try to find a reference. Thanks Nineteen85EAGLE (talk) 18:22, 19 July 2011 (UTC) : Hey Nineteen85EAGLE, your account seems to be closed down, so i will reply here. David Woodward ☮ ♡♢☞☽ 05:36, 20 July 2011 (UTC) Hello David, I have been working on putting together a Maine Energy Systems page and believe that I have put together a fairly good Wikipedia page. If you have a moment could you take a look at it and give some feedback it is Energy Systems. As I mentioned before I am trying very hard to explain the notable work being done in my area in a way which is appropriate for wp. This is my first page, and I want to make sure that it is a sensible use of wp before I hunt down the rest of the references and realize I can't put it up for WP:SOAP reasons. Thanks very much for your helpful advice earlier, I believe I have followed it well.
