The ISSN worldcat links are currently broken, e.g. in the current edit of JHA the infobox lines | ISSN = 0021-8286 | eISSN = 1753-8556 currently give https://search.worldcat.org/search?fq=x0:jrnl&q=n2:0021-8286 and https://search.worldcat.org/search?fq=x0:jrnl&q=n2:1753-8556 which state Oops, something went wrong | WorldCat.org We are unable to connect to this page, please try again. instead of e.g. https://portal.issn.org/resource/ISSN/0021-8286 and https://portal.issn.org/resource/ISSN/1753-8556, which are valid links.   Works for me Maybe it's a temporary server glitch? --Redrose64 🌹 (talk) 12:27, 7 September 2024 (UTC)Reply
I've been getting the same error for months. Sometimes the page loads results just fine, and sometimes it loads results and then is replaced by an error message. It may be browser-dependent. It's a strange problem. – Jonesey95 (talk) 22:16, 7 September 2024 (UTC)Reply

@Headbomb: I believe that Template:ISSN link contains the same logic with (print) and (web) as this template so I think we can just call that template directly without using this template. The only difference is the span class="value" - is that essential? — Martin (MSGJ · talk) 07:37, 2 July 2018 (UTC)Reply

are both dead links. User:Headbomb, can you find a replacement link or two? Thanks, wbm1058 (talk) 13:54, 17 September 2024 (UTC)Reply

Done, with https://westerncriminology.org/publications/bluebook-abbreviations/ Headbomb {t · c · p · b} 19:40, 17 September 2024 (UTC)Reply
Thanks, Headbomb, that's a good replacement for the first site, which lists law journals. Now I see why you provided two links. Now I need one for medical journals, to verify Journal of Maternal-Fetal and Neonatal Medicine. – wbm1058 (talk) 20:39, 17 September 2024 (UTC)Reply
For NLM abbreviations, just look in pubmed. Headbomb {t · c · p · b} 21:00, 17 September 2024 (UTC)Reply

Herald of the Russian Academy of Sciences is currently populating Category:Infobox journals with missing former name redirects but this template doesn't appear at the top of that page. User:Headbomb, from the template's edit history, I can't tell whether this template was working in August 2019‎ or you were still trying to make it work, and gave up. wbm1058 (talk) 15:04, 17 September 2024 (UTC)Reply

It does appear, if you enable it via your CSS page. See Template:Infobox_journal#Search_links. Headbomb {t · c · p · b} 19:34, 17 September 2024 (UTC)Reply
