Hi, I'm NoFame. I have used Wikipedia before, but not for many years, and the details of my previous account have fallen into a black hole in my memory that contains similarly "important" items like the purpose of twitter, lines from the school play I did when I was nine, and where I put my keys.
I've signed up again because vandalism annoys me. A lot. My main goals are:
- To combat vandalism wherever I can find it.
- To do drive-by spelling/grammar corrections as and when I see them.
If you feel I have reverted an edit in error, please leave a message on my talk page to let me know.
As you can tell by perusing my userboxes below, I have a number of mental and physical health issues. I haven't even put all of them up there. This is relevant because it means it sometimes takes me a while to respond to any kind of communication and I may disappear for prolonged periods without notice.
If I don't respond to a comment or question right away, I am not ignoring you. (No, really.) Sometimes I have to take a break, and that has nothing to do with anyone but me. I will get back to you when I can.

My interests
|
I have a self-taught working knowledge of HTML and CSS – hence the fancy(ish) user page. In my work life, I've proofread and copy-edited documents for publication, and worked with convicted criminal offenders towards rehabilitation. Bit of a switch from admin work, I know.
I have a BA (single honours) in philosophy, and I'm working towards an MSc in psychology, although that's currently on hold for health reasons. My BA pretty much exhausted my interest in philosophy, so I doubt I'll be editing any philosophy pages, but if it comes up you can assume I'm familiar with the relevant concepts.
I'll copy edit anything, but my interests on Wikipedia lean heavily towards psychology, criminal justice, and their intersection. I'm also interested in countering systemic bias, particularly the gender bias on Wikipedia.
General areas of interest
I'll probably add more as and when I think of them.
