The following are entries for chapters in high quality edited volumes. These are considered preferred sources (better then primary sources in many situations). Because they do not have a DOI or PubMed ID, the Wikipedia citation wizard does not build these automatically. We have manually built out the list so that they are convenient to copy and past into pages you are working on. These will definitely work if you "edit source" and copy the code, and they may work copying from "Edit" and pasting into "edit." Enjoy!

Other useful stuff for archiving
Option #1: Internet Archive Wayback Machine
Advantages: It's easy to search for an archived copy of a page and may have already saved a snapshot of the page you want as it crawls the web.
Disadvantage: Because it tends to be extremely respectful of robots.txt, there are some pages it will not save snapshots for. To use it: Go to http://web.archive.org/ and enter the URL you want to save in the search field. You'll then see a calendar of any existing snapshots and/or the option to save a snapshot of the page if it's available online.
Advantages: Besides being a great pun, you can include metadata (like author, date, keywords) and it will save some pages that the Wayback Machine won't.
Disadvantages: If saving a snapshot fails, you won't know about it until you receive a failure email.
To use it: Go to http://webcitation.org/archive and fill out the form and submit it.
Both services are independent of Wikimedia Foundation but used within Wikipedia, et al. The Wayback Machine, in particular, is used extensively for fixing dead links. WebCite is mostly used to archive pages proactively while they're still online.
