Shared dynamic IP address

Welcome!

Interested in becoming a regular contributor to Wikipedia? Create an account!

Your IP address, 70.50.148.122, is part of a pool of dynamically allocated addresses and is registered to Bell Canada. It may be shared by multiple users, so you might receive messages on this page that were not intended for you.

To have your own user pages, keep track of articles you've edited in a watchlist, and have access to a few other special features, please consider registering an account! It's fast and free. (Note: Sometimes, due to vandalism, you may be temporarily unable to register).

Applying an indefinite block to this IP is not appropriate, unless it is a soft block, because the IP address will later be reallocated to a different, unrelated, and unsuspecting user, thereby impairing access to Wikipedia in an inappropriate fashion. Caution should be used when blocking this IP or reverting its contributions without checking.

The best approach is to determine the CIDR IP numerical address range and make a higher-level decision to soft-block the entire range. http://www.arin.net/ (for approximately North America) and related sites can help to identify that range. Caution is advised when applying a range block as other Wikipedians, both registered and otherwise, may be affected.

In the event of vandalism from this IP address, abuse reports can be sent to its network administrator for investigation.

Review contributions carefully if blocking this IP address or reverting its contributions. If a block is needed, administrators should consider a soft block using Template:Anonblock.

Network administrators, to monitor this IP address for vandalism, can subscribe to a web feed of this page in either RSS or Atom format.

Why is that material that you deleted from WP:AFC/R not appearing in the archives? If you're moving closed reqeusts, they should appear in the archive.

I don't know – all I do know is that a bot removed a slew of unanswered requests, so I replaced them. My apologies if I made (a) mistake(s) while doing so. 213.246.85.251 (talk) 10:02, 27 January 2014 (UTC)Reply

Hello, I appreciate the help with getting WP/TF Ryukyu up and going. I'm just curious though; why do you go by your IP address instead of an account? ミーラー強斗武 (talk) 06:56, 28 January 2014 (UTC)Reply

I don't particularly see a need for one. And you're welcome. -- 70.50.148.122 (talk) 11:41, 28 January 2014 (UTC)Reply

Another user has created the article Wahlburgers, so it would be best to merge content from your draft at Draft:Wahlburgers to the main namespace article. Cheers, Northamerica1000(talk) 12:52, 2 February 2014 (UTC)Reply

Hello 70.50.148.122. It has been over six months since you last edited your WP:AFC draft article submission, entitled "Davy Moyes".

The page will shortly be deleted. If you plan on editing the page to address the issues raised when it was declined and resubmit it, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}} or {{db-g13}} code. Please note that Articles for Creation is not for indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you want to retrieve it, copy this code: {{subst:Refund/G13|Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/Davy Moyes}}, paste it in the edit box at this link, click "Save page", and an administrator will in most cases undelete the submission.

Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. JMHamo (talk) 13:51, 17 August 2014 (UTC)Reply
