Your recent article submission to Articles for Creation has been reviewed! Unfortunately, it has not been accepted at this time. The reason left by KylieTastic was:

This submission's references do not show that the subject qualifies for a Wikipedia article—that is, they do not show significant coverage (not just passing mentions) about the subject in published, reliable, secondary sources that are independent of the subject (see the guidelines on the notability of people). Before any resubmission, additional references meeting these criteria should be added (see technical help and learn about mistakes to avoid when addressing this issue). If no additional references exist, the subject is not suitable for Wikipedia.

Please check the submission for any additional comments left by the reviewer. You are encouraged to edit the submission to address the issues raised and resubmit after they have been resolved.

I can't find info on some of the players in MLS Next Pro. Can you add those players when you have the chance? Thanks. Freefalling660 (talk) 00:16, 27 March 2023 (UTC)Reply

I'm not sure there's a consensus that MLS Next Pro counts as a fully pro league even though it's third tier on par with the USL League One. I think only the players with a decent amount of coverage due to college, SuperDraft, previous career, etc, will meet the notability guidelines. UncleTupelo1 (talk) 10:03, 27 March 2023 (UTC)Reply
I meant adding players to the rosters of the team not creating pages. Freefalling660 (talk) 10:58, 27 March 2023 (UTC)Reply
No worries. I'll probably try and go through them all at some point! Thanks. UncleTupelo1 (talk) 12:13, 27 March 2023 (UTC)Reply
Alright. I found most of them. Freefalling660 (talk) 13:05, 27 March 2023 (UTC)Reply
Cool. The match reports on https://www.mlsnextpro.com/ have all the player details such as name, age, squad number, nationality (usually defaults to US, so sometimes worth double checking). Any player 18 or younger is probably an academy player unless they've been announced as a pro signing. UncleTupelo1 (talk) 14:04, 27 March 2023 (UTC)Reply

The article Scott DeVoss has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Footballer who made 5 pro appearances before retiring in 2019. Fails WP:GNG and WP:SPORTCRIT.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
