Similar pro-Maratha editing patterns with sockmaster:
- Chauthcollector:
- Was the only delete !vote in AfD Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Siege of Barwara (1757), a battle which was not a Maratha victory, in addition to sock Mnbnjghiryurr and nominator, sock Based Kashmiri.
- Created articles Siege of Kota and Draft:Battle of Merta (1754), their only created articles, both "Maratha victories"
- Disruptively removed sourced content stating something about the ancestry of certain Marathi people they didn't agree with [1] [2] and Marathi origin and history in general [3] [4], claiming "wrong info", and imposed their views of a Maratha origin of the Rashtrakutas [5] by removing sourced content [6] [7]
- Removed text stating the surrender of the Marathi Shivaji in a battle [8] which was later re-implemented after being reverted [9] by Historyenjoyer10, a user with an SPI report filed against them who has similar pro-Maratha tendencies.
- Other pro-Maratha edits: [10] [11] [12]
- DeccanFlood:
- Editor who has been blocked multiple times for edit warring and NPA violations, often by making PA against the editors who supported the move of Maratha Empire to Maratha Confederacy, seen in their large attack post here, and claiming that all who voted to move in that RM have some anti-Hindu agenda and "are Muslim"
- Edit warred extensively over claims of Maratha control of the Bavan Maval, mostly with socks of Thakor Sumant Sinhji Jhala of opposing views [13] [14] [15] [16] [17], and other pro-Maratha editing habits [18] [19] [20]
Chauthcollector and DeccanFlood may instead be socks of R2dra, Mr Anonymous 699, Rjrya395, InfoHistoric23, all of which are sockfarms which push similar POVs, or rather Chauthcollector may only be a sock of DeccanFlood, but the situation is very messy. - The only potential connection, and it's "big region, common UA", is DeccanFlood to ShBi1902 at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/WhiteReaperPM. So, weak. Otherwise looks unrelated, and here I can't check historicals. Behavioural evidence needs evaluation to one or another of the identified SPIs. Izno (talk) 20:25, 27 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
- Chauthcollector looks like Koitot, but R2dra is also possible. I strongly suspect that Koitot and R2dra may be part of the same group, so I'm tagging with both masters. DeccanFlood seems different from everyone else in this cluster of sock drawers, and I have enough reasonable doubt that I'm declining action for now. The case can be re-filed if there is future sock-like activity from that account. The WordsmithTalk to me 01:05, 9 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

- Imperial Enjoyer has edited logged out extensively but that's the worst that can be said. No connections that I can see whatsoever. Behavioural evidence needs evaluation to one or another of the identified SPIs. Izno (talk) 19:28, 27 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
