The result of the discussion was keep for now, but feel free to renominate if the functionality is added to the other template. Plastikspork ―Œ(talk) 01:00, 27 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

- Keep This is not a duplicate. Expand language is used for creating daughter templates. This template is used directly on articles, for languages obscure enough that it isn't worth creating a daughter template for a one-off article. Calliopejen1 (talk) 14:08, 18 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]
- From a look at the code, there's no reason the logic used in this fork can't be rolled into the main template. There is no requirement that meta-templates be used solely to create sub-templates: the odd direct transclusion through calling the parameters in-article is fine. - Keep seems to be an ease of use issue? Meta templates are usually hard to use for people who don't code templates. 65.94.77.11 (talk) 08:54, 25 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]
