Why do you want to start a new group, instead of joining one of these existing groups?
Because of Demi's prominence in acting and music, a Wikiproject would be very useful for assessing the numerous articles that exist relating to her.

Also, specify whether or not you would join the project.

  • Even though I'd be interested in joining a WikiProject for Demi, I'm going to have to (weakly) oppose for now. All of the categories for Demi-related articles add up to approximately forty pages, which I feel is a little bit too light to dedicate an entire project too. I can imagine the need for this project as her career continues and there are more articles written about her on Wikipedia, but for now, I think that a WikiProject is not yet needed.       • Looking at the WikiProjects for Britney, Christina, Gaga, Rihanna, and Shakira, it would seem that around 100 is a nice place to start. You're about halfway there, so what I would suggest is waiting for another album or two to come out (since there will be the need for at least a few articles per album) and maybe going back into her older albums and making articles for noteworthy non-singles. It would also seem that there are some major Demi pages (Camp Rock, The Final Jam, etc.) that haven't been added to her category, so I'll go add some categories to the affected articles and help you get this thing going! :-) WikiRedactor (talk) 01:16, 3 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]
        • If there's in-depth coverage on those songs from multiple reliable sources that aren't from album reviews, then they could be created per WP:NSONGS and WP:GNG. Glad to see you'd be a member! XXSNUGGUMSXX (talk) 01:25, 3 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]
