El actor escocés Gerard Butler tras su debut en la pantalla grande Mrs. Brown de 1997, apareció en varias películas y series de televisión. Después de papeles menores en estrenos como películas de James Bond Tomorrow Never Dies (1997) y la película de terror Tale of the Mummy (1998).
