About me
Supporting volunteers and forging strong partnerships between staff and volunteers has been my passion since 2006. First as a volunteer myself at Amnesty International, from 2013 on as a staff member at Wikimedia Deutschland. I live with my family in Berlin.
My work
I am head of the Community Conferences and Volunteer Support Team that is part of the department Communitys and Engagement at Wikimedia Deutschland. Volunteer support covers a wide range of financial and organizational support that volunteers can easily apply for. This includes working and networking meetings where joint editing takes place, new project ideas and initiatives are developed, and which are of course open to new volunteers. In addition, we support volunteers of the German speaking communities to organize three annual conferences.
I am an employee of Wikimedia Deutschland e.V., the German chapter of Wikimedia. This user account is used exclusively for edits in this role. --> Moritz Rahm (WMDE)
