ਆਣੰਦ ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹਾ ਪੱਛਮੀ ਭਾਰਤ ਦੇ ਗੁਜਰਾਤ ਸੂਬੇ ਦਾ ਇੱਕ ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹਾ ਹੈ, ਇਸਨੂੰ ਆਮ ਤੌਰ ਉੱਤੇ ਚਾਰੋਤਰ ਵੀ ਕਿਹਾ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ।[1] ਇਸਨੂੰ 1997 ਵਿੱਚ ਖੇੜਾ ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹੇ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਅਲੱਗ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਬਣਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ।
