In approximately 3 ABY, a small Rebel force ambushed an Imperial convoy on the Corellian Trade Spine, leading to the theft of a crucial component of the second Death Star's weapons system.
The skirmish
The Rebel Alliance Wolf Squadron ambushed an Imperial convoy passing near an asteroid field on the Corellian Trade Spine.[1]
During the battle, Rebel troopers boarded the cargo ship, killed its complement of stormtroopers and steered the ship into the asteroid field, landing it in their secret base on Annamar.[1]
