Glabos were a type of eel that lived in caves on[1] the planet[2] Ryloth. During the first two years of the Clone Wars,[1] which began in 22 BBY,[2] the Twi'lek Jedi Knight Tualon Yaluna went on a mission to Ryloth, during which he learned how to fish for glabos as he waited for an opportunity to get his target. He pretended to enjoy the glabos, but in reality he preferred rations to the salty, slimy eels.[1] Around 20 BBY,[3] while traveling to the Wild Space moon Olgothon 3 for a mission, Yaluna recounted his mission and the glabos to fellow Knight Iskat Akaris. A clone trooper teased that they only had glabos stew for meals on the mission.[1]

Glabos was mentioned in the 2023 novel Inquisitor: Rise of the Red Blade, authored by Delilah S. Dawson.[1]
