Star Wars Rebels: Servants of the Empire is a four-volume[4] junior-novel series written by Jason Fry and published by Disney–Lucasfilm Press. The novels follow the character Zare Leonis before and during his appearances in the Star Wars Rebels animated series.[1]

Author Jason Fry cited the series as one of his favorites of the works that he wrote within the Star Wars universe, describing it as "an exploration of how good people can lose their humanity by being drawn into an evil system."[7]
Continuity
The novel series fleshes out the character of Leonis in ways not covered by the television series.[1]
