'''Alexander Ernest Stevenson''' (9 August 1912 – 2 September 1985) was an Irish [[association football|footballer]] who played for [[Rangers F.C.|Rangers]] and [[Everton F.C.|Everton]], amongst other teams. As an international, Stevenson also played for both Ireland teams – the [[Ireland national football team (FAI)|FAI XI]] and the [[Ireland national football team (1882–1950)|IFA XI]]. Stevenson is one of only two footballers to have played for both the senior FAI XI and Glasgow Rangers and is one of only five players born in what is now the [[Republic of Ireland]] to play for the club, the others being [[Alex Craig (footballer)|Alex Craig]], [[James Macauley|James Lowry McAuley]], [[Jon Daly (footballer)|Jon Daly]], and [[Ciara Grant (footballer, born 1993)|Ciara Grant]].
