Hello! I'm Pohjamadesse1, but everyone calls me Jama, so I go by that really. I was born and raised as an Occitan speaker in rural Gasconha, and it is my native language, along with French.
Don't follow the crowd - let the crowd follow you.
My main interests are Occitania, local politics and radio, and general articles. You'll usually find me correcting information or expanding paragraphs. All my edits are in good faith. If I make any mistake or something of mine is reverted, please let me know at my talk page, I would appreciate the feedback!
I'm also a volunteer translator for French to English and Occitan to English articles, so if you have anything you would like me to translate, let me know!
I'm really good at playing the saxophone, though I don't play professionally. It's more of a hobby thing for me, if you know what I mean.
I've learnt quite a few languages, mostly due to connections with Occitan, French and English, which does make some of them a lot easier. I don't include Catalan in Babel because I consider it a dialect of Occitan, which isn't the standard view but it's similar enough for me to understand it without making an effort to actually learn it.
